WHYouth is the youth ministry of Westney Heights Baptist Church, welcoming students in Grades 7–12. Our heart is to create a fun, safe, and meaningful space where youth can build friendships, grow in faith, and feel connected.
We meet every Friday night at the church from 7:00–10:00 pm. From 7:00–8:00 pm, we gather together for high-energy group games, engaging teaching, and times of worship led by our youth band.
Afterward, youth break into age-based small groups, each led by a caring team of leaders. These groups provide a space for Bible study, discussion, and conversation at an age-appropriate level, helping youth explore faith and life together.
At 9:00 pm, the night wraps up with free time until 10:00 pm. Youth can enjoy sports in the gym, hang out in the youth room with ping pong and pool, or relax in shared spaces with friends. A tuck shop is also open during this time.
Pickup is at 10:00 pm.
Throughout the year, WHYouth also offers special events, retreats, and banquets. We would love to connect your youth with a supportive community of peers and dedicated leaders.
